APA SG' Cable of Condolence on the Demise of the President and Foreign Minister of the I.R. of Iran in helicopter crash
It was with deepest sorrow and anguish that we learnt of the martyrdom of Ayatollah Dr Ebrahim Raisi, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and that of his Foreign Minister, honorable Dr Hossein Amir Abdollahian as well as several other of his companions in a tragic helicopter crash in north-western Iran.
On the occasion of this disastrous incident, my colleagues at the Asian Parliamentary Assembly join me to express our most heartfelt and profound condolences to the government, the Speaker and members of the Islamic Parliament as well as the people of Iran. We also share our deepest sympathy with the bereaved family of the victims on board the crashed helicopter.
May God Almighty bless the victims of this sorrowful event with mercy and bestow patience to their family and relatives.
