APA Coordination Meeting to Convene Alongside the 153rd IPU Assembly in Tanzania
APA member parliaments participating in the 153rd IPU Assembly will come together for the APA Coordination Meeting in Arusha, United Republic of Tanzania.
The meeting is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 4 October 2026, ahead of the inaugural ceremony of the 153rd IPU Assembly.
The APA Coordination Meeting will bring together representatives of APA member parliaments to review ongoing activities, exchange views on key organizational matters, and strengthen coordination and cooperation among members in line with the priorities and objectives of the Assembly. This event in Arusha is of great importance, considering the current situation in West Asia.
The meeting will also provide an important platform for discussing future initiatives and identifying opportunities to further advance parliamentary cooperation at both the regional and international levels.
Through this gathering, APA member parliaments will reaffirm their commitment to strengthening dialogue, coordination, and collective parliamentary action, while contributing to closer cooperation among Asian parliaments within the broader framework of international parliamentary engagement.
